We’re proud to announce that we’ve once again achieved STA Assure Gold accreditation, following a vigorous assessment by the Structural Timber Association (STA). This marks the seventh consecutive year that the company has been awarded the scheme’s highest accolade.
The comprehensive audit assessed every aspect of the business to ensure compliance with the stringent requirements of the STA Assure Quality Assurance Scheme and following the assessment, SIPS@Clays quality management systems were recognised as not only meeting but exceeding the standards required to retain STA Assure Gold.

The Structural Timber Association
The Structural Timber Association (STA) is the UK’s leading trade body for the structural timber sector, promoting quality, technical excellence and innovation throughout the industry.
STA Assure Gold is the association’s highest level of accreditation, recognising SIPs providers that demonstrate exceptional standards in quality management, manufacturing processes and technical compliance.
As part of the scheme, the NHBC now accepts STA Assure Gold members as compliant with Chapter 6.2 of its assessment processes for timber structures, removing the need for further review or completing a HB2445 form.
